Own food and drinks

Not permitted on the patio, at the outdoor bar, or at the pool — please use the trust bar in these shared spaces. In your own room or on your balcony, it's of course fine.

Complaints

Please report complaints within 24 hours by phone, followed by written confirmation by email to info@finca-flamenco.com or via the complaints form at reception.

Aircon & water

Air conditioners aren't freezers

Our air conditioners are brand new and cool the room noticeably within 5 minutes. A few friendly guidelines:

  • Only run it while you're actually in the room — heading to the pool or out for the day? Please turn it off.
  • Keep windows and doors closed for the best cooling and least waste.
  • Set it to 22–23°C. Lower (17–18°C) won't cool the room faster, but can make it uncomfortably cold, waste energy, and in some cases even cause the unit to freeze up and stop cooling altogether.

Why in the bedroom?

The units are placed in the bedrooms on purpose, for a comfortable night's sleep. A bedroom is a small space — full power isn't needed and can quickly lead to a sore throat or "AC headache." Better: steady, gentle cooling.

Water

In southern Spain, water is a precious resource, especially in summer during droughts. The municipality then applies water-saving measures, up to and including full shutdowns every other day or fluctuating water pressure. We keep at least 4,000 litres of water in reserve in case supply is interrupted.

This can mean reduced water pressure in your room or bathroom. Please use water mindfully: turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, shaving, or lathering up, and take shorter showers.
